Life As Eye See It...
Day 1: Ash Wednesday

Almost passed out at work from not eating. Death may be upon me soon

Lent

Time to let loose of Facebook, texting, and adult beverages! Should be easy right..?

Case of the ex…

Yes we’ve all had them.  Recently I just found out something about one of mine.

So, I have a friend who posted a picture of her shooting at a target in a firing range. Somehow my ex found that picture, tagged me as the target, and liked it.  I’m not sure how I should feel about this… What’s your take on this?

Food…

Is one thing that brings people together. Some can argue that drinks can do the same thing. However, drinks alone cannot. There is always some sort of food that is involved. For example a simple cherry in a sex on a beach, the lime with the tequila, or the peanuts at the bar with the beer. There is always some sort of food that is involved.  Even if you’re a cheap college student who does not provide those such things… At the end of the night where do you end up? The answer is simple. You’ll be driving to your local, waffle house, IHOP, Denny’s, or Cookout.

People use food for many reasons. It’s actually an ice breaker to new relationships (doesn’t have to be an intimate one).  Think about it, when you first meet someone and want to get to know them what do you ask them. “Want to grab lunch sometime?” I know that’s what I do.

To me, food is key to a healthy relationship. Of course everyone has a different eating habit, some may be vegans or vegetarians, others may eat everything. Regardless of what your preference is, people will come together and “break bread.”

So, if you’re ever feeling alone and want people around, just remember the one thing that can help you bring everyone together.  Food.

Had lunch with a stranger in San Diego at P.F. Chang’s… She told me not to open my fortune until I got home. I never got her name…
